(UHS), which provides care through its national network of subsidiaries, has supported the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance) as an Executive Committee member for over a decade. The Action Alliance is the country’s public-private partnership, working to advance the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention, which includes the goal of expanding implementation of best practices for suicide care across the country.

Friends of Loudoun Mental Health has been advocating for mental health and serving Loudoun County citizens since 1955, and recognizes the importance of good mental health and commitment to addressing the stigma associated with mental illness. Friends of Loudoun Mental Health is an all-volunteer, community-based, non-profit organization that helps those disabled by mental illness better their lives by providing assistance for living arrangements, advocating on their behalf for improved care and resources, and promoting recovery and community awareness.
